The MICC-CNC Scientific Platform is pleased to invite the CiBB comunity to a workshop on the new Carl Zeiss LSM 980 confocal microscope with Airyscan 2.

The Carl Zeiss LSM 980 with Airyscan 2 is a state-of-the-art inverted microscope designed to support advanced imaging needs. It combines laser scanning confocal capabilities with the innovative super-resolution Airyscan technology. This system is optimized for fast and sensitive live cell imaging with a full incubation chamber. Further, the LSM980 is optimized for simultaneous spectral detection of multiple weak labels with the highest light efficiency. The Airyscan 2 detector allows for significantly improved resolution—120 nm laterally and 350 nm axially in super-resolution mode (at 488 nm). 

The workshop will provide MICC users with an opportunity to gain an overview of the new system’s capabilities.

All lectures are open to the scientific community. However, the hands-on sessions will have a limited number of spots available.
