request for users who require further support.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Training sessions must be conducted exclusively by MICC team members<\/strong>. Users are strictly prohibited from training other users under any circumstances. Violations of this policy will result in the loss of facility privileges for both the trainer and trainee.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-3312\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Booking Guidelines<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-3312\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-3312\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><ol><li><strong>Reservation Requirements<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>A valid reservation in Agendo is mandatory before using any equipment.<\/li><li>Users must book their own time slots and may not use another user\u2019s account to make reservations.<\/li><li>Using equipment without a reservation is strictly prohibited.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><strong>Scheduling Rules<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Reservations can be made up to 15 days in advance, starting at midnight.<\/li><li>All bookings operate on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/li><li>During working hours (08:00\u201320:00), users may book a maximum of <strong>4 hours per day<\/strong> and <strong>12 hours per week<\/strong> per system.<\/li><li>Reservations for overnight hours (20:00\u201308:00), weekends, and holidays are unrestricted.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Exceptions to these rules require prior approval from Lu\u00edsa Cortes.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li><strong>Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Cancellations must be made at least <strong>6 hours before the reserved time<\/strong>. The only exception to this rule is for <strong>live cell imaging<\/strong>, which may be cancelled at any time.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol start=\"4\"><li><strong>No-Show and Early Completion<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>If a reserved microscope is not in use <strong>1 hour after the reservation start time<\/strong>, and no justification is provided, the equipment will become available to other users.<\/li><li>If you finish earlier than your scheduled time, notify the next user in the queue and inform the MICC team.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Unused reservations will be charged at full rate.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol start=\"5\"><li><strong>Sanctions and Exceptions<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Sanctions may apply to users who frequently cancel or fail to use their reserved slots.<\/li><li>Maintenance or repairs may require cancellation of reservations. While efforts will be made to provide advance notice, immediate cancellations without prior warning may occur when necessary.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-3313\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Usage Policies<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-3313\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-3313\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong>1. Access to Facility and Equipment<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Access to facility rooms and equipment calendars will be activated only after the completion of required training sessions.<\/li><li>Access codes and passwords are personal and must not be shared under any circumstances. Both you and your Principal Investigator will be held accountable for any misuse or unauthorized access involving your credentials.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>2. Billing and Fees<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Time on all MICC microscopes is billed. Usage fees are designed to cover the cost of service contracts and general system maintenance.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>3. Hardware Protocols<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Users must follow the designated <strong>Turn ON<\/strong> and <strong>Turn OFF<\/strong> hardware protocols to ensure proper operation and longevity of the equipment.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>4. Data Storage<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Local hard disks are not intended for data storage. Users are required to remove their data after each session. Hard disks may be wiped without prior notice.<\/li><li><strong>Personal USB flash drives are strictly prohibited<\/strong>. Instead, MICC-provided hard drives must be used for data transfer.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>5. Room Regulations<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Only lab coats are allowed in the microscope rooms. Gloves are not permitted, as the microscopes are maintained as \u2018clean\u2019 equipment.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>6. Reporting Issues<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Users must leave all equipment exactly as they found it.
